West Branch Students Attend YSU English Festival

This past week students in grades 8-12 attended the Youngstown State English Festival.  Several students received recognition for the work that they did in various session activities:

On Wednesday, 14 students in grades 10-12 participated in the Festival.  Below are students who received recognition:

Angel Burson- 4th Place (Impromptu Writing)
Elaina Eichner- 3rd Place (Not-So-Trivial Pursuit)
Kachena Lawton- 4th Place (Writing Games)
Marissa Mountz- Honorable Mention (I Love Limericks)

On Thursday, 19 students in grades 8-9 participated in the Festival.  Below are students who received recognition:

Trevor Greenfield- 1st Place (I Love Limericks)
Emaarose Carlton- Honorable Mention (Writing Games)
