West Branch ELC and Middle School Winter Concerts

The West Branch ELC and Middle School held their annual winter concerts in December.  The middle band got the holiday season started with a rousing performance on Tuesday, December 10th.  Performing were the 5th grade recorder ensemble along with the 5th, 6th, and 7th grade bands under the direction of Mr. Bryan Stehura and Mr. William Sheak.  The 5th graders performed a number of simple pieces as they continue to learn while the 6th grade band played five songs including "Color of Christmas" and "Holiday Rock."  The 7th grade band played a set of four songs which included "Winter Wonderland and Carol of the Magi."

On Friday, December 13th, the 3rd and 4th grade students performed their Christmas program "An Early American Christmas" under the direction of Mrs. Melissa Brand.  The students sang Christmas songs while over 70 students told the story of how Early American Christmas's influenced contemporary Christmas.    

The K-2nd graders performed on Monday, December 16th.  The youngest Warriors sang songs such as "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, "3 Little Muffins", and "Ring a Little Bell."  First graders then followed with "Blitzen's Boogie," and "Nice, Nice Christmas" to name a few of their five song set list.  The second grade class closed out the show with six songs including "Winter Waltz," "Masters in this Hall," and "Dancer and Prancer."

The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choir showcased its talents on Tuesday, December 17th with its 2024 Christmas Concert.  The 6th grade choir got things started with Star Bucks the Musical which featured a number of songs and storytelling.  The show also featured soloists Case Black and Victoria Jones along with Rappers Miley Griffin, Stella Whiteleather, and Grace Kline.  The 7th/8th grade show featured a number of songs along with soloists Rory Rohaley, Ava Hobbins, Carson Martin, Evelyn Smith, Sutton Clay, and Claire Bloss.

A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Clay, Mr. Stehura, and Mr. Sheak along with all of our wonderful West Branch students for outstanding performances showcasing the many talents of our kids.
