West Branch Designated Purple Star School for its Support of Military Families

West Branch Local Schools has been designated a Purple Star school for its support of military families by the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.  In order to become a Purple Star school, West Branch was required to meet a number of activities put out by the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.  Mr. Mike Helm serves as the staff point of contact for our military families and a page was dedicated on the West Branch website that features resources for military families.  Additionally, the school hosted a military recognition night at one of the football games and collected pictures of former military personnel that attended the school and proudly displayed a poster in the Fieldhouse lobby.
