State Champion Baseball Team Recognized on Statehouse Floor
The 2024 State Champion Warrior baseball team was recognized on the Ohio Statehouse floor on Wednesday, December 18th. The Warriors were given a resolution that was presented by Representative Lauren McNally for its accomplishments last spring.
The team met with Legislative Aide Michaela Burriss who gave the team a tour of the Capitol, taught the team a little more about the legislative process. The team then met on the Statehouse floor and was presented the resolution by Representative McNally and was able to get a picture with her on the floor.
The team continued the tour and met Lt. Governor Jon Husted before joining the session in the gallery where Representative McNally presented the team to the entire house congratulating them on their accomplishment.
Following the house session, the team was given lunch where Senator Al Cutrona presented the team with a resolution on behalf of the Senate and District 33.
