Preschool Students Learn About Fire Prevention

Chief Brian Baker and Captain Randy Rogers, from the Homeworth Fire Department, spoke to the preschool for fire prevention week.

Chief Baker and Captain Rogers went over steps to prevent fires, what to do in case of a fire and emphasized the importance of smoke detectors.

The fireman displayed some of the equipment that they use and how important it is to the safety of the fireman.

The highlight of the day was seeing the fire truck.  Chief Baker and Captain Rogers showed all of its equipment and their purpose.
