Human Body Systems Class Takes Part in Hands-On Anatomy Lab

This week in Ms. W's Human Body Systems class, we took part in a hands-on anatomy lab by dissecting a sheep pluck (heart, lungs, and trachea) alongside a donated deer heart and lungs. Special thanks to Nick Blasiman's family for the deer donations! This lab gave students the opportunity to connect what they've learned in class to real biological structures and functions as well as compare the anatomical differences seen in the two organisms.
