Ellyse Schule Wins Earth Day Billboard Contest

West Branch Middle School student Ellyse Schule was the 5th grade winner of the Mahoning County Green Team Billboard Contest. Ellyse's design can be seen on Route 46 at Western Reserve Road.

The contest is an annual event put on by the Mahoning County Waste District in March to help promote Earth Day. The contest is open to students in grades 4 through 8.  Designs are focused on litter prevention and/or the 3R's (reduce, reuse, recycle).
