Brieanna Call Places Second at Regional Spelling Bee

West Branch 7th grade student Brieanna Call had a great showing at the 92nd annual 21-WFMJ Regional Spelling Bee held at Stambaugh Auditorium on Saturday, March 1st finishing in second place.

Brieanna was one of 69 students in grades three to eight who represented public, private, charter, and parochial schools in Mahoning and Trumbull counties to compete in the spelling bee.

Brieanna correctly spelled the word Doraphobia to earn the second place trophy.
