I am excited to serve West Branch Local School District students in grades 5-8 for the 2012-2013 School Year along with Mr. Aaron Walker as our Assistant Principal.
We have a great staff who are dedicated to all students and who work diligently to motivate and inspire students to be the best they can be.
This is a year of transition as we move the fifth graders to the Middle School. Many hours of planning and organization have gone in to making this transition for both 5th and 6th graders a smooth one.
It is a privilege to follow Mr. Manley’s leadership of the building as the State building rating has been “Excellent” or “Excellent with Distinction” for a number of years under his direction. With continued perseverance and teamwork, we can exceed the results of previous years as we press forward with enhanced academic instruction for all students.
Parents, please keep involved in the education of your children. YOU are your child’s most important teacher for their success in life by how you live and what you teach by the things you model for them. Continue to love them and be involved in their education.
I encourage every student to get involved in extra-curricular activities, because research proves that when students are involved in sports, fine arts, clubs, and activities outside of the school day, they perform better academically.
