Welcome Back to School! 
I will be providing speech-language services during the 2012-13 school year for 7th and 8th grade students at WBMS as well as for some students at Damascus Elementary. I look forward to a great year!
What is a Speech Language Pathologist?
A Speech Language Pathologist is a professional with expertise in speech and language development as well as swallowing, cognition, auditory processing, phonological awareness and written language. Speech Language Pathologists in the schools primarily work with students to develop listening skills, oral expression, written expression, comprehension, early reading skills, and social skills. Students may receive services in individual sessions, small groups, or colaboratively within their classroom, depending on their individual needs.
