Ohio Achievement Testing
Each year our students are required to take the Ohio Achievement tests. These tests are required assessments that are aimed at measuring what students are able to do. At the 3rd grade level our students are tested in math and reading.
The third graders will take the Ohio Achievement Reading Test in the beginning of October. They will then take the math and reading tests in the spring. According to the Ohio Department of Education's website, the test dates for the 2011 - 2012 school year are from Monday, April 23 through Friday, May 11, 2012. Once the exact test dates are known that information will be shared with you. A different test will be given each day. Please note that the tests do not take place on consecutive days, but are spread apart over the course of the week. It is imperative that students be in school during testing so please arrange doctor's appointments, etc. so your child will not be missing school during this time period.
