Meet Mrs. Mull
My name is Mrs. Tina Mull and I teach 5th grade science. After having my two children, I chose to attend college to get my teaching degree. I am a graduate of Kent State University where I earned my bachelor of science degree in elementary education (1-8) and my master's degree in reading specialization (K-12). This is my 22nd year of working at West Branch. In addition to teaching at WB, I am also a 1983 graduate of West Branch.
I have been with my husband Bill for 33 years and we have two children. My son, "Bunk", is 29 years old. He is currently finding his way through life and is working for Buckeye Polymer. My daughter Erica will soon be turning 32. She and her husband live in Broadview Heights with my adorable grandson. Jack was born on May 20th, 2016 and he is the absolute picture of perfection! I also have a very spoiled cat named Ozzy. He is always finding some kind of trouble to get into. I also have 2 sisters and a half brother - all who are younger than me. (It's tough being the oldest child!)
I used to say that the most exciting thing I'd ever done was when my daughter and I went on a 10-day trip to Spain, France, and England in March of 2001 and when my daughter got married in July of 2010. Those are memories that I will forever cherish, but the birth of my first grandchild is, by far, the most exciting thing I've encountered. It's amazing the amount of love and excitement children can bring into our lives!

Things have been really different since 5th grade became a part of the middle school. I'm not sure that we truly belong here, but I can say that I love teaching 5th grade and I have had some pretty amazing students - past and present - who remind me every day why I chose to do what I do.
One of my favorite things to do is watch the Cleveland Indians play baseball. (Yea, even when they don't play so great.) I try to visit Progressive Field a few times over the summer to cheer on the Tribe. Win or lose, they are my favorite team. (Gotta take the good with the bad!) The Mull Family are also supporters and season ticket holders of the Cleveland Browns. (I know, call us crazy!)
Me & Erica Our View
Over the years I have been very lucky to spend time with family and friends.
These are some of the trips I have made over the last few years.
My husband and I took a 7-day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean in June.
We didn't take many pictures but here is a picture of a sunrise from our balcony and one of Half Moon Cay.

Some of my favorite things include:
Food: Some of my favorite foods include Fruits/Salads and Quaker Steak and Lubes "Haut Parm" Wings
Drink: Diet Coke and Dunkin' Donuts (iced hazelnut or french vanilla coffee with cream and Splenda)
Movies: Grease and Dirty Dancing
TV Shows: Grey's Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, American Ninja Warriors, Judge Judy, HGTV's Property Brothers, and House Hunters
Books: Twilight Saga, A Child Called "It", the Kate Burkeholder series by Linda Castillo, and the Evelyn Talbot series by Brenda Novak
Music: 93.3 and HOT 101. I like listening to Steve Miller Band, Ozzy Osbourne, Aerosmith, Guns 'N Roses, Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, Bad Company, Jim Croce, Green Day (especially American Idiot), and much more - just depends on my mood.
Junk Food: Herr's Red Hot Chips, Beef Jerky, Hot Tamales, and Good & Plenty
Places to Shop: I'm not much of a shopper, but I do love to spend money on tarts from Yankee Candle.
Restaurants: Jalisco's and Outback Steakhouse - I'm not too picky because going out to eat means I don't have to cook, and I hate cooking.
Now that I've introduced myself and shared a few things, I really look forward to getting to know more about my students this year. I hope that we can work together cooperatively to ensure that each child has a positive learning experience.
Have a Great Year!
