Step #1:  Choose a problem and turn it into a
                question to be investigated.
 
Step #2:   Research your problem by reading,
                asking advice and making observations.
 
Step #3:   Develop a hypothesis by making a
                 prediction about what will happen.
 
Step #4:  Design an experiment to test your hypothesis.
 
Step #5:   Conduct your experiment and record the data and  
                 observations.
 
Step #6:    Organize your data with charts and graphs.
 
Step #7:    Draw conclusions and analyze your data to   
                  summarize your findings.

 
      Step  #7 will often lead to more questions for you to investigate!
