Meet Mrs. Jones
Hello and welcome to Kindergarten! We are going to be spending a lot of time learning, discovering and growing together through out the school year. I wanted you to know a little bit about me and I am anxious to learn all about you!
I graduated from Salem High School in 2000 and pursued my college education at Kent State University. I graduated in spring 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. During the summer of 2010 I obtained my 4th and 5th grade Generalist Degree from Ohio University, and Decemeber 2011 I graduated from Kent State University with my Master's Degree in Cultural Foundations of Education.
I have had the honor to work in the West Branch Local School District for 3 years as a Title One Tutor before becoming a kindergarten teacher. This will be my 7th year as a kindergarten teacher.
In July 2005 I married my high school sweetheart, Curtis Jones. We share a love for learning and education, as he is also a teacher. He teaches high school Social Studies at United Local School District. We have two beautiful children. Our son, Landon, is 10 years old and our daughter, Delaney, is 8 years old. Outside of school we are very busy with soccer and dance.
When I have spare time I love to take pictures of my children, read the latest books to hit the library, and see the newest movies in IMAX.
