Don’t you appreciate great efforts of a sports team? You see them playing with all of their might, sweating and celebrating victories. This only comes after a long season of daily practices with great EFFORT and hard work!
That kind of EFFORT is expected of WBMS Students!!!
YOU should be physically healthy, emotionally healthy, academically successful, and exhibit excellent behavior.
Below are some of the REWARDS & AWARDS that students can strive for during the course of the 2015-2016 school year. Give your best EFFORTS to achieve greatness so that YOU can earn the REWARDS that TOMORROW can bring!
 
Rewards & Awards:
Daily Rewards:
? Merit Tickets will be given randomly by teachers to students for showing great EFFORT & TRRFCC character.
Weekly Rewards:
? Warrior Way Café – Students will be chosen to “dine” in a great new room with others who exhibit above and beyond character on a regular basis beginning in September.
? Principal will make a “One Call” to parents of students who redeem Merit Tickets.
Monthly Rewards:
? Student of the Month Award – Students chosen by teachers for students with TRRFCC character
9 Week Rewards & Awards:
? 9 Week Rewards Day – must have less than 2 Discipline Points
? Merit Roll - GPA of 3.5-3.74
? Honor Roll - GPA of 3.75-4.0
Year-End Rewards & Awards:
? Perfect Attendance – No Tardies or Absences
? Outstanding Attendance – Fewer than 3 absences (each tardy counts as ½ day)
? Year-End Luncheon – for students who earn Honor Roll 3 of 3 9 Weeks & have Zero Discipline Points all year
? Year-End Field Trip – must have less than 6 Discipline Points and less than 15 absences
? Year-End Zero Discipline Points – Year-end treat & name announced at Year-End Assembly
? Merit Roll – GPA of 3.5-3.74
? Honor Roll – GPA of 3.75-4.0
? Good Student Awards – recommended by the team of teachers for students with great CHARACTER & EFFORT
? Ruritan Award – 8th Grader recognized for service to community and school
? Hahlen Award – Top Math student in Grade 8
? Archie Griffin Award – Outstanding Athletics and Academics for 8th grader
? Presidential Academic Awards – High GPA & Great Character
 
Negative Behavior Consequences:
Should students choose not to exhibit TRRFCC character and give best EFFORTS, there will be consequences.

? Bullying and harassment will NOT be tolerated by anyone. Should you see this occur or have this done to you, please report it to a staff member and fill out a Bullying/Harassment Form - available in the office.
 
Discipline Points will be tracked throughout the year for each student based on the following:
o Detention = 1 point
o 3 missing Homework Assignments per class = 1 Detention
o Saturday School = 2 points
o Bus Suspension = 2 points
o ISS or OSS for 3 or less days = 3 points
o ISS or OSS for 4 or more days = 6 points

 
Attendance:
? Students who miss 10 days in a semester course will fail the course, unless due to prolonged medical illness.
? Students who miss 20 days in a year-long course will fail the course, unless due to prolonged medical illness.
