Dear West Branch Warrior Community,
It is my pleasure to be serving you as the Superintendent of the West Branch Local School District. We believe it is our mission to prepare all students for their tomorrow today! We value a strong sense of community, tradition, and the variety of opportunities for ALL students. I am excited about the challenge of continuously improving our academics and programming as we strive to have our students achieve excellence in and out of the classroom.
Parents and community members are encouraged to access our website regularly for important updates, information and announcements. It’s A Great Time to Be A Warrior!
You will find that the West Branch Local School District has some of the brightest educators and the most dedicated staff in the state! This year, we are focusing on improving our instructional programs through professional development opportunities that focus on high-quality instructional practices and assessment. We are also rolling out our WARRIOR 1:1 program in 5th and 9th grade. Over the next few years, students in grades 5-12 will have a chromebook accessible 24/7. This incorporates many facets of learning and integrates technology into an ever changing academic landscape.
We believe in an approach that targets educating the “whole child” each and every day. Our renewed focus on enhancing our curriculum along with our strong desire to put students first enable us to provide an excellent educational program for ALL students for the 21st century.
We are proud of our Warriors and our community! We know that by working together, we can ensure that our students are provided with a variety of opportunities and an excellent educational experience. Please continue to support our district as we move the West Branch Local School District forward with continuing success and new opportunities.
Again, thank you for visiting our website and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns at (330) 938-9324 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please follow me on Twitter @saxton_tim for school related information.

“Making a Positive Difference
One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a figure in the distance. As he got closer, he realized the figure was that of a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing?”
The youth replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll all die.”
“Son,” the man said, “don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t possibly make a difference!”
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said
“I made a difference for that one.”
