MS Students Help Community
West Branch Middle School PIE sponsored a two-week penny war to raise funds for Act 2 Ministries, which helps feed families in need in the West Branch and Sebring communities. The students met the challenge of raising $1,500, which obligated middle school Principal Matthew T. Manley to wear an elf costume the entire day before Christmas break. Not only did the students meet the goal of $1,500, but thanks to the generosity of the entire student body, their families, the WBMS staff, Henderson Electric, which donated $250, and an anonymous donor contributing $300, $2,600 was raised. WBMS PIE would like to thank the entire community for their continued support.
