Kindergarten

  • Talking about fairy tales
  • Discussing characters
  • Reviewing 3D shapes
  • Continuing to work on sight list 3
  • Working with weight and volume

Grade 1

  • Measuring with nonstandard units
  • Using strategies to add numbers, such as counting on and making 10
  • Determining the unknown whole number in an addition equation (6+__=10, __+7=10)
  • Understanding the meaning of the equal sign
  • Determining the difference between realism and fantasy.
  • Reading and writing words with the long "i" spelling pattern (pie, light, etc) and word with "kn" and "wr"Identifying adjectives and writing using adjectives (describing words)

Grade 2
